Project Monitoring & Evaluation

Since 1997 Weidemann Associates has provided continuous monitoring of all U.S. microenterprise activities of the Agency for International Development. All USAID Missions report their microenterprise development funding through online tools developed by Weidemann Associates; then all recipients of USAID funding world wide report their microenterprise results using a similar set of tools. (see www.MRReporting.org) Since 2002 Weidemann Associates has provided online reporting and monitoring of USAID’s Implementation Grant Program for microfinance development, with the value of grants exceeding $110 million for the period.

Weidemann Associates has also conducted assessments and evaluations for Missions and projects of USAID under the Economic Growth Office. The evaluations have examined past projects and strategies for economic growth, including agricultural development, agribusiness, and business development. These evaluations have gone on to influence designs and scopes of work for new Mission strategies and projects. Weidemann Associates is able to provide a wealth of expertise and adept analysis in these topic areas under the Business Growth Initiative project, RAISE Plus IQC, and Farmer-to-Farmer.
