The Business Growth Initiative

The Business Growth Initiative (BGI) was established by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to promote best practices in enterprise development as a critical element for economic growth. The Bureau for Economic Growth, Agriculture and Trade awarded a Small Business Set Aside Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), the RAISE Plus Limited Scope of Work, to Weidemann Associates. Farmer to Farmer Special Programs and Support Project

Weidemann Associates, Inc. has been awarded a contract to support special volunteer programs in agricultural development under the Farmer to Farmer (FTF) Program. The goals of the SPSP contract are to: test innovative approaches towards use of volunteers, draw from non-traditional sources of volunteers, develop the capacity of non-traditional volunteer organizations working in the agriculture sector, and address niche agricultural sector issues.> More
